Repair Terms

In these terms and conditions, references to “we” and “us” refer to We Fix Bedford and its associated companies. By using services provided by We Fix Bedford you are entering into a contract with us. The terms below set out our obligations to you and what you are agreeing to.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for all data on your device. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

As part of our diagnostic, we will test your device to find any additional faults, if the authentication details are not given or a diagnostic is not requested, we will not test the device hence any additional faults and its repair will be treated independently.

If your device is not functional, you understand that we are unable to fully test the device, and as such any additional faults and its repair will be treated independently.

We will not be responsible for any faults that arise as a result of the initial damage or by disturbing the internal components during repair, we will make you aware of any faults found and provide any costs of the additional repair.

Any device that is found to have any signs of liquid damage, will be exempt from any warranties offered, however We may still offer the repair. We will inform you as soon as we see any signs of internal liquid damage, only after speaking with you will we continue with the repair.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for pirated content, we have the right to return any device in any state, without a refund if pirated content is found.

We assume that you are the rightful owner of the device and you are authorising us to accept software end-user licence agreements on your behalf as necessary to complete the repair. You understand that your warranty may be voided by opening/repairing the device.

We normally aim to diagnose and repair the device within 3-5 business days but the repair can take longer. We often have to source parts from outside of the UK and can take several weeks before we receive the parts. In the rare case that parts are unavailable, we will make every effort to inform you.

We will not be held responsible for any repairs that exceed our estimated completion time. We will make every effort to inform you if we expect a delay in our service.

Repair warranty is for 90 days unless otherwise stated. Please note this only covers faults directly related to the repair we have carried out.

Before we return the device to you, you must pay any remaining balance. If you decline the repair, you will still be liable for the diagnosis fee.

All Devices that have been left for over 7 days will be placed in storage, and an additional storage fee will be charged, after an additional 23 days if prior arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to dispose or sell the device to cover the outstanding costs of the repair, it’s important that you check your contact details on your order form at the time of booking to ensure that we have your correct contact details. We will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the details provided.
